Pete's School of Motoring - Driving Courses

Intensive Courses
These courses are designed for learners who want to condense their driving tuition into a shorter time period. These courses can be completed in as little as 1 week depending on previous experience – booking essential. The amount of hours required will be decided on your initial assessment lesson – see guide below. All intensive courses include one weekday attempt at the practical driving test booked by me.

10 Hours - Suitable for learner drivers who have recently been unsuccessful at their driving test or who are near test standard.

20 Hours - Suitable for learners who already have basic driving skills. This course concentrates on building confidence and mastering manoeuvres.

30 Hours -- Our most popular course, suitable for learners who understand the basics but have limited practical driving experience.

40 Hours - This course is designed for the complete beginner with no driving experience.

Please note that the theory test must have been passed before a course can commence. A deposit is required at time of booking with the remaining balance due on day 1 of the course.

Motorway Course
This course has been designed to build confidence when driving on motorways, a very useful course for new drivers or as a refresher. The course is 3 hours in length and covers all aspects of motorway driving.

Pass Plus Course
This course is aimed at new drivers and is designed by the DSA. This course is 6 hours in length and will build upon the drivers existing skills and knowledge. The course is made up of six practical modules which include, driving in town, driving in all weathers, driving on rural roads, driving at night, driving on dual carriageways and driving on motorways.

There isn’t a test at the end of the course but the pupil will be continually assessed and must be competent at all modules. Many car insurers offer a reduction after the completion of this course however you are advised to check with your insurer directly.
